The FIH Academy Level 1 Coach Award is designed for coaches, teachers and volunteers aged 16+ wanting to start coaching at an initiation/beginner/foundation level.
This course is integrated in to the Futures Sports Residential Hockey Camp, providing an ideal opportunity for candidates to learn and practice in a live environment. Candidates will be considered as part of the Futures Sports Staff Team for the duration of the course, but will be mentored by an FIH Educator throughout.
An induction session will take place on Sunday 14 July from 7pm to 9pm for residential AND day candidates. Other sessions will take place between 9am and 5pm from Monday 15 July to Thursday 18 July - day candidates may depart at 5pm on these days. Evening sessions and attendance on Friday 19 July are for residential candidates only.

Day & Residential: FIH Academy registration fee, course delivery fee, FIH/Futures Coach shirt, certification & lunch (Mon-Thurs).
Residential: As above plus breakfast (Mon-Fri), Dinner (Mon-Thurs), accommodation (twin or single) for 5 nights (Sun-Fri).

FIH Academy Coaching, Umpiring and Officiating Courses are recognised globally, however, with 140 FIH member nations, equivalence to National Association qualification and requirements, as well as local laws will vary. For further information please contact your National Association.

This FIH World Hockey Camp is a partner camp between the FIH, Futures Sports Ltd and HC Delta Venlo. The team of international coaches have been appointed by Futures Sports and the FIH (International Hockey Federation).
