Our pathway from 7 to 21 Years old

Over the past 30+ years Futures has run hundreds of day & residential camps for all ages and abilities. Every Camp is different, but our guiding principles of excite, challenge and inspire remain constant.

Our Camps operate across 4 stages of development - Foundation, Talent, Performance and Elite. Each is designed to meet the specific needs of players at that stage.

The Futures Philosophy

Our philosophy is to develop players who are able to recognise multiple options, make appropriate task decisions, and complete those tasks with technical competence.

We try to include a range of activities on our camps that target physical, mental, technical and tactical development needs. These areas of individual knowledge, understanding and competence, together with the environment and the task being performed, are the constraining factors in performance.

We believe that possessing a knowledge and application of fundamental technical hockey skills will enable a player to adapt more quickly to game constraints, and to have a broader range of options available to them in any given task.
